What each field means
1 District/Taluka/Village
Administrative location of your land. Must match exactly across all government documents.
2 Survey / Gat Number
Unique identifier for your land parcel. Essential for bank loans, insurance, and govt schemes.
3 Account Number
Owner account in the village record. Multiple owners can share one account.
4 Land Area
Plot size in Ha/Are/Centiare. Use the Land Converter tool to convert to Guntha or Acres.

8 Uncultivable Wasteland
Uncultivable area (rocky, water body etc.). Excluded from PMFBY insurance coverage.
9 Crop Recorded
Last crop recorded by Talathi. Must be updated before PMFBY enrollment.
10 Irrigation Source

How to use this tool
Click on any numbered field in the sample 7/12 extract to read a plain-language explanation. The FAQ section below covers the most common issues — name mismatch, missing crop entry, and invisible land records.
Why this matters
The 7/12 extract is required for almost every government scheme, loan, and land transaction — but few farmers know what each field means. A name mismatch between your Aadhaar and 7/12 is the single biggest reason PM-KISAN applications get rejected.
